Constructing a building has never been easy, many people and resources are involved. In Ancient Japan Mmorpg the servers will be persistent, all construction is designed to last, and its process, of course, will neither be an immediate construction nor a path of roses.
To explain how it works, we will start at the beginning: everything starts with a paper and a pencil.
With a customized building construction system, the players who have studied architecture will be able to make their custom designs of buildings using prefabricated blocks in the purest "lego" style, creating all types of rooms and even castles, being able to paint the blocks and choosing roofs types giving a more personal touch. This system will be intuitive and intelligent not letting start the houses for the roof for example.
Once the design is ready, it will be available as a "blueprint" so the players that buy an empty plot or the very Daimio (among others) choose its player design and begin the works.
Once placed, the construction site will create several missions for the zone builder's player leader, who will be able to assign that construction to whoever has available among its workers (players or npcs) {who will receive the mission to build that building} and with the budget obtained must manage the resources necessary for its construction being able to finish the sooner the better, all individually charging their deserved share.
The important buildings like the town hall when founding a new city, the castles and in general large constructions will be frankly tedious and will have a long and "painful" process where the effective management of many people and resources will accelerate the process tremendously.
The construction site will need resources to build its different zones, when bigger the building, more areas will have and more workers will be able to invest on its construction. The designated builders will gradually visibly complete the areas until the building is finished.
For the necessary raw materials indirectly come into play lumbermen, carpenters and/or blacksmiths being the ones who must produce the necessary resources and objects if they can't be found in the warehouses of the builders (who should regularly buy these resources to the market storing them to avoid having to stop work and buy what is missing). Carts are used to transport resources.
Builders also do maintenance work and raise their construction "skill", not only to build faster but to promote by rank. The more skilled builders will be more often chosen for important constructions. In principle there are 4 ranks: Apprentice Builder, Builder, Builders Leader and Royal Builder. Being a builder is a well-paid job and can also open the way to being an architect without having to study for it.
It must be taken into account that any personalized construction will take the name of its creator (in green) to its properties (whether they are plans or buildings already built, where the name of the architect and those who have participated in its construction will appear).

The Market importance and performance
Each market manages and will have the goods of the (town/city) where it is located, each market will be independent of the others, which will give relevance to merchant players. The (towns / cities) will have their own local production of resources. It will be the Merchants who will have to supply the needs of the markets, connecting them with commercial routes (through guilds) or through freelance's street vendors. Still, there will be npc merchants supplying markets with the most basic and with less intensity.
Therefore, the goods in a market will always be in constant movement, in constant evolution, and depending on the natural resources that each (town/city) are taking advantage of the vicinity, the markets will have more or less quantity and quality of goods in their stocks.
In a market players can:
- Normal players can buy and sell directly, put something on sale (posting it to the market) by customizing the price, and / or auctioning it.{There is a board in all markets where you can only check the objects of other players and auctions in other markets, being able to buy instantly but having to go there in person to pick it up.}
- Merchant Players can live in the market by opening general or specific stores in any or more than one market.
- Merchant Players can also build/buy/rent production buildings (such as farms, mines, sawmills, taverns, etc.) to towns/cities where there are buildings/construction zones available for them, acting as a patron being able to earn enough money or be completely ruined.
- The Merchants meeting point will be the "Guild Building" where you can consult different quests, buy/sell the production buildings, enter auctions and be able to vote among local merchants (those who have a business in the city) the "Master of the Guild". Keep in mind that there will be no guild in all the towns/cities and will have to go to the town hall.
Resources like food, will be very important to keep the people and the soldiers in conditions although this concerns only the Daimyo and some specific power positions in each (town/city) power. Otherwise it could unleash a rebellion or the emigration of the population or even his death stagnating the economy of the whole (town/city).
Being a Daimyo you must consider this kind of things, like raising new farms or increase the food tax if you want to maintain more people in your armies for example.
Among lots of other things..
